Our client is a leading player in the civil engineering industry, specialising in large-scale infrastructure projects. With a strong reputation for delivering complex and challenging projects on time and within budget, they are now seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join their team.

  • About the Role:
  • We are looking for a Junior Quantity Surveyor who will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and administration of construction contracts, monitoring costs, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, and experience working on medium to large-scale construction projects. They will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and administration of construction contracts;
  • Monitor costs and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget;
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues;
  • Prepare reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders;
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as architects and engineers, to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field;
  • Experience working on medium to large-scale construction projects;
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software, such as AutoCAD and Revit.
