Project Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Design Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a passion for designing innovative solutions and leading high-value projects.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have expertise in designing and coordinating projects from conceptual phase to completion, with a focus on renewable energy, utilities, and infrastructure. They will work closely with senior engineers and other team members to develop preliminary and detailed design calculations, drawings, and reports.

Responsibilities:

- Design and project coordination for renewable energy projects (biogas, biomass, CHP, solar, hydro, industrial utilities)
- Development of preliminary and detailed design calculations
- Creation of design drawings and specifications
- Development of conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design reports
- Balance of plant design
- Energy saving project design and implementation

Requirements:

- Engineering degree (Honours bachelor's degree or higher) in Mechanical, Process, or a similar discipline relevant to the specification above
- 5+ years post-graduate and relevant design experience. Chartered Engineer would be beneficial but not essential
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Good academic record
- Full clean driving license and own transport required
- Fluent written and spoken English is essential
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
