  3. All tasks and duties must be carried out quickly to improve efficiency, while maintaining control and professionalism.
  4. To possess product knowledge of drinks and food items, as well as services within this department. To also have a good working knowledge of all hotel services.
  5. To clean designated areas and set tables to required standards, ensuring table linen is clean and undamaged.
  6. To ensure table decorations and flowers comply with standards.
  7. To take orders from guests, processing them correctly to the appropriate person.
  8. To serve beverages and food in accordance with standards, providing professional and courteous service.
  9. To prepare and deliver orders quickly, efficiently, and discreetly, meeting timing and presentation standards.
  10. To upsell hotel facilities at every opportunity, improving guest satisfaction and maximizing revenue.
  11. To clear tables as soon as guests have finished, allowing for an acceptable waiting period.
  12. To ensure guests are correctly charged, present the bill, and collect payment in accordance with procedures.
  13. To monitor perishable goods, breakages, and stock levels to minimize wastage and control stock.
  14. To communicate relevant information to colleagues and staff members within the hotel.
  15. To report guest comments and feedback to the Head of Department or record it in the log book located at Reception.
  16. Cleanliness and hygiene of work areas, equipment, appearance, and uniform must always meet high standards and company guidelines.
  17. To respect the privacy and confidentiality of in-house guests at all times.
