Key Responsibilities:- Preparing financial statements and ensuring accuracy;
- Participating in the performance of audits and risk assessments;
- Compiling management accounts, including budgeting and forecasting;
- Preparing corporation Tax, VAT, RCT and Income Tax returns;
- Preparing and processing Payroll and managing employee data;
- Liaising with clients, legal firms, Revenue and other professional advisers;
- Managing client Company Secretarial requirements and ensuring compliance;
- Working under the supervision of senior staff members and providing support and guidance;
- Preparing VAT returns and managing cash flow;
- Attending client premises and building relationships;
- Communicating effectively verbally and in writing with external clients and stakeholders;
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard in terms of timeliness and technical competence;
- Participating in teamwork and activities enhancing standards for the business and client;
- Representing the firm internally and externally in a professional manner through appearance, conduct and attitude;
- Ideal candidates will have obtained at least a 2.1 in accountancy or a related degree;
- Be motivated and able to work both as part of a team and independently;
- Possess strong communication and English language skills;
- Be enthusiastic about developing their career and advancing professionally;
- Endeavour to continually improve their skills and knowledge in accounting and finance.
