About this Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Nursing Manager to lead our clinical team in delivering exceptional care and improving quality outcomes. As Assistant Director of Nursing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our nursing home.

You will be responsible for overseeing clinical standards, conducting thorough assessments, and managing care plans to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the delivery of best-in-class nursing and social care tailored to meet the individual needs of each resident.
  • Oversee clinical standards, conduct regular audits, and manage care plans to maintain high-quality outcomes.
  • Supervise medication administration, conduct thorough audits, and liaise with healthcare professionals to ensure compliance with best practices and improve medication management standards.
  • Lead and mentor nurses, developing their skills and confidence through ongoing training and development.
  • Perform regular clinical, environmental, and medication audits, developing and implementing action plans to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards.
  • Serve as a key contact for residents and families, promptly addressing concerns and supporting person-centered care approaches.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with active registration.
  • Minimum of 2 years leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
  • At least 6 years of experience working in a nursing home environment.
  • Certificate in leadership or management.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills with a focus on team motivation and continuous professional development.
