Estate Guardian

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Howth Castle Estate.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our staff, residents, and visitors, working closely with our management team to achieve this goal.

Key responsibilities include:

• Patrol designated areas of the estate to ensure the safety and security of staff, residents, and visitors.
• Monitor CCTV cameras and respond to any security breaches or incidents.
• Manage access control systems and issue ID badges to authorized personnel.
• Respond to emergency situations and incidents, escalating to law enforcement if necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents and report any maintenance work required on the estate.

Requirements:

• Hold a license from the Private Security Authority in Ireland (mandatory).
• Minimum 3 years' experience in the security industry, preferably in the hospitality sector.
• Able to work flexible hours, including night shifts.
• Good level of fitness and strength.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
