The Job:

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for managing mechanical design processes, mentoring a team, and ensuring all designs meet Irish engineering standards. Your contributions will be instrumental in the continued success and growth of our organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Mechanical Engineers to deliver high-quality projects
  • Oversee mechanical design for Commercial, Residential, and Healthcare projects, ensuring compliance with Irish building regulations and engineering standards
  • Collaborate with architects, electrical engineers, and contractors to achieve project objectives
  • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and resolve technical challenges
  • Provide expert guidance on HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical building services

Requirements:

  • Extensive Irish experience in mechanical design for building services
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team of engineers
  • Strong knowledge of Irish mechanical engineering standards and regulations
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualifications
