This role offers a unique opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Junior Project Manager / Project Co-Ordinator. Key Responsibilities:
- To source materials from suppliers for projects, focusing on timely delivery and quality standards.
- To manage documentation associated with landscape drawings, bills of quantities, and site sign-off dockets.
- To maintain clear communication with clients throughout the project, addressing scheduling and scope of works in accordance with the Programme of Works.
- To utilize commercial acumen to create quotations and communicate them to customers.
- To prepare and disseminate Health and Safety documentation for each project, collecting and distributing required documents from both operative and client sides.
- To attend meetings with contracts managers, customers, staff, and other stakeholders, taking minutes when necessary.
- To perform general administrative tasks, including copying, scanning, printing, filing, postage, document control, archiving, formatting documents, maintaining standard templates, and compiling reports and submissions.
- To identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency within the role's remit, the wider Commercial Department, and Project administration generally.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated expertise in horticulture is crucial for this role.
- The ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects concurrently, and work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Exceptional communication skills to establish strong relationships with clients.
- Superior written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Effective relationship management skills to collaborate with Project Teams.
- Previous experience in contract administration would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Somewhat relevant experience in a similar role would be beneficial.
- A Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification is mandatory.
