Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To source materials from suppliers for projects, focusing on timely delivery and quality standards.
  2. To manage documentation associated with landscape drawings, bills of quantities, and site sign-off dockets.
  3. To maintain clear communication with clients throughout the project, addressing scheduling and scope of works in accordance with the Programme of Works.
  4. To utilize commercial acumen to create quotations and communicate them to customers.
  5. To prepare and disseminate Health and Safety documentation for each project, collecting and distributing required documents from both operative and client sides.
  6. To attend meetings with contracts managers, customers, staff, and other stakeholders, taking minutes when necessary.
  7. To perform general administrative tasks, including copying, scanning, printing, filing, postage, document control, archiving, formatting documents, maintaining standard templates, and compiling reports and submissions.
  8. To identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency within the role's remit, the wider Commercial Department, and Project administration generally.

Requirements:

  1. Demonstrated expertise in horticulture is crucial for this role.
  2. The ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects concurrently, and work independently while contributing to a team environment.
  3. Exceptional communication skills to establish strong relationships with clients.
  4. Superior written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Effective relationship management skills to collaborate with Project Teams.
  6. Previous experience in contract administration would be advantageous.
  7. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  8. Somewhat relevant experience in a similar role would be beneficial.
  9. A Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification is mandatory.
