Job Description
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing, laying out, and continuously improving our factory and production processes. With expertise in manufacturing principles, lean methodologies, and design, you will drive workflow optimisation, efficiency enhancement, and production environment standardisation. Key responsibilities include:
  • Designing and implementing optimal factory layouts for improved workflow efficiency.
  • Specifying and integrating new equipment to meet evolving production demands.
  • Optimising existing production lines for increased efficiency and reduced downtime.
  • Providing technical expertise and support to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications
This role requires a degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, accompanied by 5-7 years of industrial manufacturing engineering experience. Proficiency in CAD software like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Pro-E (Creo) is mandatory, alongside a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification. You must possess strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical/electronics, assembly work, and safe working practices. Additionally, experience with ERP systems and a commitment to continuous improvement are necessary.
