Care Worker Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate care worker to join our team. As a care worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • To assist with daily living activities such as washing, bathing, shaving, grooming, and cleaning teeth.
  • To manage continence.
  • To get service users in and out of bed safely.
  • To assist with rehabilitation programs as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • To help service users be safe, happy, and have as much fun as possible.
Requirements:
  • Fetac Level 5 or QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support qualification or equivalent.
  • Own transport and full clean driving license (preferred but not essential).
  • Clean Garda Clearance Certificate.
  • Minimum of two former employer references.
  • Proof of relevant qualifications.
  • Good general health and willingness to undergo a medical if required.
