The Role

Finding Success as a Graduate Engineer

We are currently accepting applications for positions starting in the near future.

The successful candidates will join an established team with senior support in one of our sectors. As your career progresses, you will have the opportunity to acquire a broad range of skills and experience and to work across different areas of the business.

This role will provide you with essential engineering, communications, and project delivery skills which are transferable across any engineering project.

Some examples of projects you may be involved in include:

  1. Design from conceptual phase through to project completion
  2. Development of Preliminary and Detailed Design reports, calculations, and drawings
  3. Design & Project coordination from conceptual phase through to project completion in the Gas network sector in areas such as:
  • Transmission AGIs, Pipelines, and Diversions
  • Distribution Installations, Services, and Pipelines
  • Renewable Gas Projects including Biogas, Biomethane, and Hydrogen Power Generation Station & Balance of Plant Design
  • Design & implementation of energy audits and energy saving projects
  • Design of Biomass Combined Heat & Power projects from conceptual phase through to project completion
  • Renewable Energy feasibility studies and projects including solar, biogas, hydro, and others
  • Industrial utilities design, HVAC, steam, refrigeration, compressed air
  • Design of water infrastructure

The graduate engineer will have the opportunity to progress their career within our organisation to be involved in various business sectors providing experience across a wide range of projects.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Engineering degree (Hons Bachelor degree or higher) in Mechanical, Chemical, Energy, Electrical, or a similar discipline relevant to the specification above.
  2. 0 - 2 years post-graduate experience.
  3. Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  4. Good academic record.
  5. Full clean driving license and own transport required.
  6. Fluent written and spoken English is essential.
  7. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
