Electrical Engineering Expertise

A key role in our organization is the Project Design Electrical Engineer, responsible for leading design projects in operational data centers.

This includes remediation of issues, upgrading existing infrastructure, and adding new services. The successful candidate will provide lifecycle support from design through implementation, utilizing their electrical expertise to:

  • Perform design and equipment submittal review for Data Centers.
  • Interface with internal and external data center design engineering teams, server hardware teams, environmental health and safety teams, field engineering, and controls engineering to promote standards that maintain consistency and reliability in services delivered.
  • Work on concurrent projects, sometimes in multiple geographical regions, and act as a technical subject matter expert for your given discipline.

You will also be expected to:

  • Support construction, commissioning, operations, and turnover.
  • Be detail and data oriented with familiarity with design/construction processes.
  • Have experience managing engineering projects and engineering consultants.
  • Build trust and relationships with different stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Commissioning, Construction and Design).
