Job Title: Production Planner and Scheduler

We are seeking a skilled Production Planner and Scheduler to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise in planning and scheduling.

About the Role:

  • Plan production schedules to meet demand, balancing supply and capacity.
  • Develop and maintain production plans, issue daily production instructions, and analyze data to optimize planning.
  • Design production plans to maximize efficiency and minimize unnecessary changeovers.
  • Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or excesses, monitor inventory movements, and ensure correct quantities of raw materials are planned.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance supply and demand, and communicate production plans and status updates.
  • Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, reduce costs, and implement process improvements.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in high-volume perishable goods planning (meat, dairy, ready meals).
  • Experience scaling production (managed over 10M units/year).
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, macros, Power Query).
