Matrix Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced EIA Specialist to join our client, a leading renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure company in Ireland. This permanent role offers hybrid flexibility and the opportunity to work on environmentally responsible projects.
The successful candidate will oversee Environmental Assessments to evaluate project impacts and propose mitigation measures. They will also advise planning teams on compliance with environmental laws and policies, stay updated on relevant regulations, and develop plans for community engagement. Additionally, they will manage third-party services to meet company and environmental standards, ensure health and safety compliance, and mentor junior staff in EIA processes.
We are looking for a highly skilled professional with a Level 8 degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or related disciplines. The ideal candidate should have 5 years of experience in preparing Environmental Impact Assessments for large projects, with expertise in the Irish market. They should also have experience leading on environmental assessments, familiarity with relevant environmental laws and policies, and experience with EIA/AA pre-planning processes.
