The company operates within a Microsoft-focused environment, delivering enterprise solutions including MS Dynamics, Microsoft 365, and Azure. We have a diverse portfolio of government contracts and commercial projects, with ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and Lead PMO: Set up and lead a Project Management Office (PMO), overseeing multiple concurrent projects.
  • Develop and Implement Standardised Methodologies: Develop and implement document control policies, standardised project methodologies, and best practices.
  • Resource Allocation and Management: Allocate and manage Project Manager (PM) and Business Analyst (BA) resources, coordinating internal teams and external partners.
  • Ensure Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with project budgets, timelines, and governance standards.
  • Sales and Pre-Sales Activities: Contribute to sales and pre-sales activities, providing insight into project feasibility, resource planning, and risk assessment.

Project Delivery and Execution

  • End-to-End Project Delivery: Lead end-to-end project delivery across a portfolio of government and commercial projects.
  • Project Scope and Timelines: Define project scope, timelines, and resource requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Milestones and Deliverables: Maintain oversight of milestones, deliverables, risks, and change management processes.
  • Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Engage directly with clients, executives, and technical teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
  • Best Practices in SDLC and Service Delivery: Ensure adherence to best practices in software development life cycle (SDLC) and service delivery models (MSP ticketing, alert management).

Requirements

  • At least 15 years of experience in project or programme management, with 10+ years in senior leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of establishing and running a PMO from the ground up.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, including MS Dynamics, Microsoft 365, and Azure.
  • Proven ability to manage revenue and margin implications in a services business.
  • Experience working in an MSP environment, including ticketing and alert management systems.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
