Pharmacist Assistant

This is an exciting opportunity for a Support Pharmacist to join our team in Waterford. As a Support Pharmacist, you will be responsible for receiving, recording, and assembling prescriptions, issuing appropriate receipts, and advising customers on over-the-counter medicines.
About the Job:
- The role could be permanent or temporary and requires experience within the Irish system.
- You will not be required to work late nights and will have a manageable Saturday shift schedule of 2/4 shifts per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and record prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Ensure that any errors or safety issues are promptly recorded and resolved
- Provide exceptional customer service by recommending and serving customers with over-the-counter medicines
Requirements:
- You must be registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI)
- Possess a genuine passion for meeting customer needs and engaging with customers
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and be able to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike
