We are seeking a skilled structural engineering expert to provide comprehensive fastener specifications and technical solutions across construction projects in Dublin.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate engineer to join our team and contribute to the delivery of complex engineering projects. As a structural engineering expert, you will be responsible for leading technical consultations with stakeholders, conducting site inspections, and performing complex engineering calculations and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead technical consultations with stakeholders to determine appropriate product specifications, including direct engagement with end-users, consulting engineers, architects, and contractors.
  • Conduct site inspections and attend technical meetings to ensure proper implementation of specifications.
  • Perform complex engineering calculations and analysis, including wind load calculations and structural assessments.
  • Develop detailed technical drawings and specifications using industry-standard CAD software.
  • Support business development initiatives through technical presentations and client meetings.
Qualifications and Competencies:
  • Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering accredited by a relevant professional body.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform complex structural calculations and wind load analysis.
  • Proven experience in specification and application in construction projects.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Irish building regulations and European technical standards.
  • Proficiency with engineering software including CAD and structural analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies and quality assurance processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellence in technical documentation and specification writing.
