Your day-to-day tasks will include administrative support, auditing, and providing practical assistance in the day-to-day running of a busy Manufacturing Plant.
">You will work within an environmental management system that is certified to ISO 14001 and 50001 standards. Your role will focus on driving compliance and continuous improvement in health and safety.
">Responsibilities:

- Safety Promotion: You will assist with promoting a culture of safety throughout the workplace. This includes keeping records, sharing results, and ensuring safety has a visible presence in the workplace through training, promotions, tool box talks, and audits.">
- Fire Safety Risk Assessment: You will assess fire safety risks and liaise with consultants as required to ensure the organization meets all necessary regulations.">
- New Products/Processes: You will recommend and trial new personal protective equipment (PPE), assess material safety data sheets (MSDS), and assess new work procedures or machinery.">
- First Aid/Spills: You will assess equipment and systems to ensure suitable training, equipment, and processes are in place.">
- Risk Assessments: You will conduct risk assessments and reviews in line with legislation and new data. You will also review procedures, queries, and practices, and recommend measures and solutions.">
- Safety Committee: You will organize and facilitate safety committee meetings, communicate regularly with representatives, and follow up and review issues arising.">
Requirements:
">To be successful in this role, you will have a Level 7/Level 8 qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or Engineering, with additional training and experience in Occupational Health and Safety Management. You will also have good computer skills using Microsoft Office and be able to learn new systems.
">We are looking for an organized individual with attention to detail, who can work effectively in both factory and office environments. You should have high-level communication and observational skills, as well as being a collaborative problem solver.
">We are seeking someone who is reliable, proactive, and able to drive continuous improvement. You should be a competent communicator and keen relationship builder with various stakeholders.
