Project Manager

A pivotal opportunity to lead marine and port-related projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with project scope, timeline, and budget.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross-functional teams in executing project plans, schedules, and budgets while adhering to industry standards and company guidelines.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, external vendors, and contractors to facilitate timely and efficient project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
  • Identify and address potential roadblocks that may impact project progress, ensuring proactive issue resolution.
  • Provide regular project updates to senior management and key stakeholders, addressing concerns and deviations from project plans.
  • Optimize project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Maintain adherence to industry regulations, safety protocols, and environmental best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Cultivate collaboration between engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless integration of project deliverables into existing marine and port infrastructure.
  • Pursue continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices to enhance project management processes and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; PMP certification is highly valued.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing marine or port-related projects, with expertise in industry-specific processes and requirements.
  • A proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving successful project outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, as well as MS Office suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to marine and port operations.
  • A proactive and results-driven approach, focusing on delivering high-quality projects within specified constraints.
