- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure all own-brand products meet agreed specifications and quality standards for both product and packaging.
- Ensuring full compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies throughout all stages of product development.
- Maintaining and updating online product specifications to ensure all products are fully approved before launch.
- Following the stage gate process to deliver efficient, structured product development.
- Conducting regular market benchmarking to identify opportunities for product or process improvements.
- Supporting suppliers and product developers to implement best-in-class sustainable packaging solutions in line with environmental targets.
- Maintaining close communication with the Quality department regarding supplier audits and managing any technical issues effectively.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
- Third-level degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Food Business, or a similar relevant discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the FMCG sector/food manufacturing environment in a transferable role such as Development, Quality, or Technical.
- Experience completing retailer specifications using computerised systems.
- Knowledge and experience of legal labelling and label approvals.
- Strong project management, organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
