About the Role
The Operational Risk Analyst will work closely with senior management to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks across the organization. Key responsibilities include:
• Analyzing data to identify trends and draw conclusions
• Developing reports and reviews for senior stakeholders
• Influencing senior management in decision-making to ensure business activities operate within defined risk appetites
• Building relationships with senior leaders to assist in the implementation of operational risk initiatives

Key Accountabilities
• Ensure all operational risk frameworks and policies are fully compliant with relevant recommendations and guidance from regulatory bodies
• Champion a customer-first culture by ensuring processes and procedures consistently promote good outcomes for customers
• Provide timely and meaningful oversight through effective reporting and dashboard management

Requirements
This role requires a minimum of 5 years' experience in financial services in a risk management role. Relevant professional qualifications are advantageous. Strong relationship management, communication, and influencing skills are essential. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of risk principles and tools, as well as proven report writing capabilities and experience in analyzing and interpreting data.
