About the Role

We are seeking individuals to fill the role of a Personal Care Specialist.

This position involves providing support with personal care, including washing, bathing, showering and toileting. The successful candidate will also be responsible for light household tasks such as dusting, laundry and meal preparation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting clients with morning and bedtime routines.
  • Preparing meals and assisting with medication administration.
  • Maintaining accurate records of daily activities.
  • Shopping for essential needs.
Requirements:
  • Caring and patient nature.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Full QQI 5 major Healthcare Support Award and/or QQI Care Skills and Care of the Elderly.
  • Access to a vehicle is preferred but not essential, as this is a home-to-home role.

In addition to these responsibilities, the ideal candidate will possess excellent time management and organizational skills, allowing them to effectively prioritize tasks and manage their workload.
