Fabricator Welder Opportunity

Staffline is seeking self-motivated and experienced Fabricators to join an industry leader in the Building Services sector. As a Fabricator, you will be required to fabricate a range of pipe arrangements to support our team of skilled welders across several sites on dayshift.

The successful candidates will be required to be on site each day within the fabrication/welding facility, fabricating pipe arrangements from shop drawings. The ability to produce some or all types of welds (TIG/MIG) would be required.

We offer the opportunity for the successful candidates to develop their skills to numerous welding disciplines and in-house welding procedures.

Fabricating as part of our team involves operating MIG/TIG or MMA welding equipment, reading/interpreting drawings, fabricating pipe sets for various pipe diameters, using metal cutting and grinding equipment, highlighting any faults or damage to the machine and its tooling, cleaning tools, equipment, and work areas, maintaining a safe working environment, and performing other duties deemed necessary by Management.

  • Previous experience of operating as a Fabricator or Welder, preferably including pipe fabrication
  • The ability to interpret welding procedure requirements
  • Able to use Shop floor hand tools like Grinders, Hand Plasmas etc.

Required Skills:

  • TIG/MIG Welding: Proficiency in operating TIG/MIG welding equipment, including troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
  • Shop Floor Tools: Familiarity with using shop floor hand tools such as grinders and plasma cutters.

Additional Responsibilities: Successful applicants will also participate in continuous improvement initiatives, attend regular meetings, and provide feedback to enhance our processes.
