Job Description Overview

Duties and Responsibilities of a Staff Nurse

The Staff Nurse - Interventional Radiology role at TN Ireland involves a range of duties and responsibilities including:

  • Activating individualised plans of care for newly admitted patients.
  • Conducting radiography exams as needed and meeting competency frameworks.
  • Maintaining superior levels of radiography practice.
  • Participating in on-call rotations as required.
  • Understanding and adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Reporting any issues or incidents that may threaten patient safety.
  • Delivering high-quality patient care through effective attention to civility, efficacy, efficiency and secrecy.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • NMBI Registered General Nurse license in good standing.
  • At least 1 year of post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills, as well as proven clinical ability; fluency in written & spoken English.
