Job Overview

The Quality Engineer plays a pivotal role within the Quality group, reporting directly to the Quality Manager/Quality Supervisor. As a key member of the team, this individual will be responsible for driving quality initiatives across their designated area of functional responsibility, working collaboratively to maintain exceptional quality/performance standards on all products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to promote the achievement of health and safety objectives.
  • To deliver on key performance indicators (KPIs) that support business growth.
  • The Quality Engineer will actively contribute to the further development and continuous improvement of the Quality Management system.
  • Establish and maintain risk management principles and methods throughout the product realization process in compliance with the company's Quality Management system and applicable regulations.
  • Maintain relevant documentation to ensure quality standards and customer requirements are met.
  • Offer quality guidance to the entire team in support of day-to-day deliverables.
  • Develop strong relationships with customer organizations and project stakeholders.
  • Support and initiate projects to drive continuous improvement.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of responsible area validation documentation.
  • Investigate root causes and implement effective corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence of compliance issues.
  • Oversee production Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards and compliance, establishing inspection standards, sampling plans, and test methods where applicable.
  • Prepare and update procedures and associated documentation.
  • Support customer audits and surveillance/accreditation audits.
  • Conduct and drive audits ensuring compliance with ISO 13485.
  • The Quality Engineer will play an active role in quality planning and new product introduction from a quality perspective.
