Fitness Coach

Our Fitness Instructor plays a key role in helping members achieve their fitness goals and wellbeing.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about fitness and has a strong ability to motivate and inspire others.

The successful candidate must be professional, energetic and dedicated to helping others to achieve their fitness goals & wellbeing.

They must have the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team. Job coaching and mentoring will be offered to ensure the individual's success.

The Kilkenny Ormonde Leisure Club features newly refurbished gym equipment that requires an experienced and qualified Fitness Instructor to help members & guests use it correctly while achieving their fitness goals & wellbeing.

A minimum of 2 years experience is essential. NTC or NCEF qualification is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fitness Assessments to help others achieve their goals
• Devising safe and appropriate fitness programmes
• Monitoring members and their fitness levels
• Proactive selling of the Club & memberships
• Teaching a wide variety of fitness classes
• Opening & closing procedures including cash handling
• Cleaning and Maintenance of gym equipment
• Pool testing & operational daily duties

Desirable Qualifications:

• Prior experience working with pool plant operations
• Lifeguard qualifications

Requirements:

• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to work at a consistently high standard
