The Technical Equipment Technician role is a critical part of our Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team at Amazon. As an RME Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting a wide range of equipment to ensure the highest levels of quality and availability.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, with experience in high voltage switching, sortation machines, and maintaining/configuring bar code scanners. They will also have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to interpret both mechanical and electrical drawings.

A day in the life of an RME Technician will involve working on-site at one of our facilities, where you will respond quickly to any machinery issues. You will carry out a range of planned preventative maintenance tasks to ensure our sites' equipment is working safely, as well as investigate and implement solutions for breakdowns. You will also work on continuous improvement projects and roll out best practices across our global network of fulfilment centres.
