Financial Expert Role

Our organization seeks a diligent Financial Analyst to join our Finance Shared Services team.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.

  • Reconcile all control accounts, journals, and tasks related to the month-end close process.
  • Oversee the timely submission of direct tax filings (VAT, RCT, PAYE) and lease accounting administration.
  • Prepare GL balance sheet reconciliations, communicate results to stakeholders, and ensure accurate data entry.
  • Process journal entries, ensuring requests have proper approval and suitable backup.
  • Manage intercompany processes and VAT returns.
  • Administer leases and contracts.
  • Handle audit queries and resolve issues promptly.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A qualified accounting background with experience in general ledger management within the construction industry.
  • Good working knowledge of ERP systems, DRC, RCT, and VAT.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Experience in finance accounting roles.
  • Strong attention to detail for accurate data entry and checking.
  • Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement at all levels.
  • Target-driven approach with ability to meet strict SLAs.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills with ability to identify potential errors.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
