We are recruiting for an Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator to support our client in East Cork. This role involves working closely with the overall quality team to ensure the company's quality and environmental health and safety program meets regulatory requirements.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
- Developing and implementing effective QEHS policies and procedures;
- Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations related to quality, environment, and health and safety;
- Conducting regular internal audits to identify areas for improvement;
- Supporting with laboratory testing and retesting when required;
- Managing CAPA systems and logging actions;
To succeed in this role, you will need strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Experience in food manufacturing or laboratory environments is desirable.
