Radiology Manager Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Radiography professional to support the operational running of our Radiology department. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious and driven Radiographer with a passion for motivating people and progressing in their career.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To motivate, support and engage fellow colleagues in delivering clinical excellence and personal care.
  • To undertake administrative tasks to facilitate the smooth running of the department.
  • To participate and lead clinical audits in order to identify areas for improvement.
  • To deliver and promote the highest standards of patient care in an environment of high patient throughput.
  • To lead and manage the Diagnostic Imaging Department in the absence of senior management.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiography.
  • Seven+ years experience as a Radiographer.
  • CORU registration.
Effective Communication Skills:
  • To communicate effectively with colleagues and other members of the healthcare team.
  • To recognise limitations and seek assistance when necessary.
  • To accept constructive advice when appropriate.
General Expectations:
  • To adhere to HR policies as set out in our Employee Manual.
  • To cooperate and take part in our Mission Statement in dealing with patients and staff members.
  • To maintain strict confidentiality regarding all patients and activities of our organisation.
