About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Structural Design Engineer to join our Dublin office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and analyzing structural systems for various building types using Eurocodes and relevant Irish/UK standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of reinforced concrete, steel, timber, and masonry design, as well as proficiency in industry software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis tools.

A bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and chartered or working toward Chartership with Engineers Ireland or similar is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze structural systems for residential, commercial, healthcare, educational, and infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare structural calculations, technical reports, and construction documentation.
  • Conduct site inspections and collaborate with architects, M&E engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and project specifications.
  • Liaise with contractors and clients.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Chartered or working toward Chartership with Engineers Ireland or similar.
  • 3+ years of experience in structural engineering design.
  • Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete, steel, timber, and masonry design.
  • Proficiency in industry software (AutoCAD, Revit, structural analysis tools).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
