Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Site Reliability Engineering team at Google, where you will play a key role in building and running large-scale, massively distributed, fault-tolerant systems. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the reliability, uptime, and performance of our services.

You will work collaboratively with other engineers and developers to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions. This includes writing product or system development code, reviewing code developed by others, contributing to existing documentation, and participating in design reviews.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement efficient solutions to complex problems, leveraging your expertise in coding, algorithms, and large-scale system design.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of projects and delivery of high-quality results.
  • Maintain and improve existing systems, identifying opportunities for optimization and automation.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with 2 years of experience in software development and data structures or algorithms. Experience working in computing, distributed systems, storage, or networking is highly desirable.
