Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cost Manager to join our team. As a Senior Cost Manager / Estimator, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the cost management of large-scale construction projects.

The successful candidate will have a strong ability to read services drawings and schematics, especially mechanical. You will also have leadership experience in managing teams of cost managers delivering comprehensive cost management services to clients.

You will assist in creating cost analysis feedback and lessons learned to the client for future projects, as well as assist in the Bid Evaluation process. You will also negotiate with contractors to agree on material quantities based on detailed designs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering or surveying
  • Chartered or working towards chartership
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative and friendly team environment
  • Dynamic environment with opportunities to manage priorities and deadlines
