Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental practice located in Cork City. This is a Saturday only position that offers the opportunity to develop your career in a modern and well-established general and specialist dental practice.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated and hard working, with a strong commitment to patient care. They will also have a good attitude, be a team player, and have a great command of the English language. The role involves performing dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth, as well as taking and processing dental radiographs. The candidate will also assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations on an individual basis. Other responsibilities include giving advice in relation to oral health, maintaining accurate patient records and treatment plans, and collaborating with dentists and other dental professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. We are looking for someone who can confirm medical and dental histories, record the hard and soft tissue and periodontal status, provide supra and subgingival scaling, apply prophylactic materials, re-fit crowns and place temporary dressings when indicated. A strong work ethic and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role.
