Safety Assurance Specialist

Excel Recruitment are seeking a Safety Assurance Specialist to join one of Ireland's leading builders and contractors. As part of the Construction management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the provision of a safe and productive work environment.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in managing safety systems in construction, including a qualification in Occupational Health and Safety. Member of IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health) is preferred.

You will be required to assist site management to comply with statutory H&S requirements, monitor and enforce the implementation of Health & Safety Management System, and identify site-specific hazards.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring clear lines of communication with the H&S Manager, maintaining site folders and statutory records, and enforcing strict adherence to site rules by all contractors.

A strong relationship builder with the ability to leverage key relationships across the full spectrum of project stakeholders and statutory bodies is essential for this role.
