Radiation Laboratory Specialist

As a Radiation Laboratory Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the effectiveness of our radiation laboratory and product release process. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining the accuracy and reliability of dosimetry lab operations in accordance with GLP, GMP, and ISO 11137 regulations.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform sampling activities to support product manufacture in compliance with cGMP regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct dosimetric analysis, dose mapping, and equipment maintenance in adherence to established standards and procedures.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with relevant regulatory standards, company policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Collaborate in the design and setup of the site dosimetry lab program.
  • Generate and update documentation as required.
  • Support the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment and consumables.
  • Verify that the laboratory is adequately stocked and resourced, with accurate labeling.
  • Participate in validation activities for dosimetry lab and equipment qualification.
  • Review and approve laboratory test results.
  • Maintain accurate records and review data for completeness and accuracy.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and provide technical advice as needed.
  • Respond promptly to unplanned events and report out-of-specification results to the supervisor.
  • Initiate and complete CAPAs and change controls in accordance with site procedures.
  • Monitor environmental and product trends, generating and presenting quarterly and annual reports.

Requirements:
  • Hold a third-level Science or Manufacturing qualification or equivalent.
  • Desirable: Two years' experience in a related field, specifically in manufacturing, quality, or science.
  • Electron beam or sterilisation technologies experience is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of ISO 11137 is beneficial.
  • Chemistry, Microbiology, or Dosimetry Lab experience is highly desirable.
