Children's Service Manager

About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a pivotal position in managing the day-to-day delivery of services.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Providing leadership in the development of the service in line with Personal Outcomes Measures and future service requirements
- Familiarity with Tusla Childcare regulations 2016 and being the person in charge of the service, ensuring the holistic wellbeing of children
- Excellent communication skills linking with families and members of the MDT
Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A current Live Register Certificate from the NMBI (An Bord Altranais)
- A minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience gained in services for people with intellectual disabilities
- Experience working with children with autism, complex medical needs/sensory needs, and supporting positive behaviour
- A full clean manual Driving Licence, which qualifies you to drive manual transmission vehicles on Irish Roads
Benefits:
This role offers:
- A permanent, part-time and pensionable position
- A competitive salary scale (01/03/2025) - €56,081 x 7 increments - €66,045 pro-rata per annum
- 25 days pro-rata annual leave
Working Environment:
The Brothers of Charity model of service is based on Personal Outcome Measures, requiring employees to be flexible in their working hours to provide a quality service delivery for each individual.
The team-based performance management involves participating in person-centred planning, individual reviews, team meetings, attending and participating in training courses, and actively contributing to team performance.
