About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Speech and Language Therapist to lead our team of specialists. As a Senior Speech and Language Therapist, you will provide high-quality evidence-based services to children with intellectual disabilities, physical impairments, and sensory disorders.

You will work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team, including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Social Workers, Behaviour therapists, and Psychologists. Our client fosters a culture of continuous learning and innovation, offering access to formal and informal development opportunities, supervision, and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide a quality, evidence-based Speech and Language Therapy service to children with primary intellectual disability, psycho-social, sensory, and physical impairments in consultation with their families, carers, and staff.
  • To maintain a waiting list if/when necessary.
  • To manage a complex clinical caseload, exercising advanced clinical reasoning, in making autonomous decisions and judgements on a daily basis.

Essential Criteria:

  • Degree in clinical speech and language therapy.
  • Full CORU registration.
  • Hold Dysphagia training.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years work experience as a Speech and Language Therapist.
