Job Overview

The role of Traction Manager at TN Ireland involves overseeing the efficient operation of the store's fresh food departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive the best possible experience in our fresh food areas.

About the Role

This is a leadership position that requires a strong understanding of how to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and targets. The ideal candidate will have 2 years' experience in a Fresh Food Department, preferably in a supervisory or management capacity. Additionally, they should have an eye for detail and a passion for fresh food.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure the smooth running of the fresh departments by prioritizing and delegating tasks effectively.
  • Set, monitor, and achieve sales targets with the team on gross profit margin, net margin, waste, and other KPIs agreed with the Store Manager.
  • Manage employee performance, providing regular feedback, recognition, and encouragement.
  • Foster good working relationships among the team members.
  • Hold regular fresh food meetings and communicate relevant details and results to the team.
  • Deal with all customer queries efficiently, professionally, and consistently with store policy.
  • Manage employee rostering and annual leave for the fresh departments.
  • Ensure the merchandising and presentation of the fresh department are of the highest standard at all times and follow relevant store planograms and guidelines.
