About the Role:

  • Operate equipment and tools commonly used in construction and general facilities maintenance
  • Load and unload deliveries of material or equipment
  • Collect materials from suppliers and deliver to various sites as requested
  • Carry out maintenance and repairs tasks, including cutting, drilling, and chasing walls and floors
  • Attend craftspeople during their duties and liaise with outside contractors
  • Responsible for the completion and documentation of daily safety checks of assigned vehicles
  • Accountable for all tools, stock, or equipment under their control

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in construction is an advantage
  • Previous maintenance or caretaking experience is essential
  • Safe Pass and Manual Handling Certificate
  • Knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety
  • Full valid Category B Driving Licence
