Job Overview

Tether is a global leader in revolutionizing the financial sector by leveraging blockchain technology to create reserve-backed tokens across various blockchains.

We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect who excels in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver robust and scalable systems architectures.

This role involves designing and implementing efficient system architectures using systems-level thinking, ensuring reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

Responsibilities
  • Design System Architectures: Develop tailored system architectures for apps, SDKs, SaaS platforms, etc., aligned with our tech stack.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with developers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into practical architectures.
  • Contribute to Development: Guide development through code reviews, proof-of-concepts, and skeleton structures.
  • Write Technical Proposals: Ensure alignment with agreed architecture through clear technical proposals.
  • Stay Updated: Stay current with new tools, frameworks, and ideas to improve our systems.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of experience in Technical Architecture or similar roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience in JavaScript and C++.
  • Past experience developing or architecting successful and scalable applications, with P2P experience a plus.
  • Strong understanding of architecture principles, patterns, and best practices, with adaptability to new stacks and tools.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills for conveying technical ideas across diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in creating and managing architectural artifacts like diagrams, specs, and documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to simplify complex technical challenges.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
