About the Role:- You will be working collaboratively with various teams to facilitate the delivery of exceptional service and support business initiatives.
- Undertake desktop and on-site valuation and/or risk management survey assessments in line with agreed survey authorities.
- To proactively build positive internal and external relationships, which will facilitate the delivery of exceptional service as part of our Risk Management team.
- Work collaboratively with Business Development, Claims, Underwriting and other departments to achieve business objectives.
- Plan, prioritise and manage individual workloads to enable efficient delivery to agreed service standards.
- To produce suitable valuation, risk survey and risk improvement reports in accordance with published guidelines.
- Experience in fire (and non-fire perils), theft, business interruption and liability insurance risk surveys.
- A strong appreciation of buildings architecture, design, construction and fire detection, protection and suppression systems.
- ACII or equivalent qualification with a firm commitment to achieving this within an agreed period + relevant Health & Safety qualification or equivalent.
- Excellent technical underwriting knowledge or extensive property damage claims handling/loss adjusting experience.
