Job Title: Postdoctoral Researcher in Theoretical Physics
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced postdoctoral researcher to join our research group in theoretical physics. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in condensed matter theory, with a focus on topologically ordered phases of quantum systems.
The successful applicant will be working closely with Dr. Joost Slingerland and his team to investigate the interplay of strong correlations and geometric fluctuations in quantum materials. This project has significant implications for our understanding of quantum information processing and has the potential to lead to breakthroughs in this field.
The position is available immediately and is funded by Research Ireland for a period of 36 months. You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative research environment, with access to state-of-the-art facilities and resources.
Required Skills and Qualifications- PhD in Theoretical Physics or a related field
- Experience in condensed matter theory, with a focus on topological phases
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
