We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Beaumont Lodge Transitional Care Unit in Dublin 5.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing reablement and developmental therapy services to patients, working closely with the MDT to achieve optimal outcomes.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing patient needs and developing tailored therapy programs
  • Providing education and training to patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Collaborating with the MDT to ensure seamless care delivery

In addition to a relevant qualification and registration with the Occupational Therapists Registration Board, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Occupational therapy qualification recognised by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with the Occupational Therapists Registration Board

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Knowledge of occupational therapy services, facilities, and equipment
  • Ability to assess individual patient needs
  • Skills in preparing and maintaining patient records
  • Knowledge of a range of therapy methods and techniques
