We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Coordinator to join our Admissions department. As a key member of our team, you will provide critical support for the registration process, ensuring accurate and efficient patient data management.
Key Responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Deputizing for the Team Leader
- Greeting and registering new patients attending outpatient clinics and elective/emergency admissions
- Registering, admitting, and financially assessing emergency admissions through the Emergency Department
- Ensuring accurate collection and entry of patient biographical data onto the BHIS system
- Liaising with consultants regarding private insurance details and validating medical card information
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You should also have:
- Satisfactory experience as a Clerical Officer in the HSE or other health agencies
- A minimum of five subjects at Leaving Certificate level, including Mathematics and English
- A relevant third-level qualification, such as a diploma or degree
