Internal Audit Expert

Deliver top-tier internal audit expertise as an experienced Senior in a dynamic and forward-thinking organization. This impactful role presents a unique opportunity to collaborate with senior professionals, execute detailed audit testing, and contribute to process enhancement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Audit Planning & Execution: Collaborate with the team to plan and conduct internal audits across multiple business units, perform risk-based testing and analysis of internal controls, document findings clearly and provide actionable recommendations, prepare high-quality audit reports for stakeholders.
- Compliance & Controls: Ensure audits align with professional standards and internal policies, support follow-up activities to track remediation of identified issues, maintain awareness of regulatory changes and best practices in internal audit.
- Team Collaboration & Stakeholder Interaction: Work closely with managers and directors on audit projects, build effective relationships with internal stakeholders, mentor and provide guidance to junior audit team members.
- Process Improvement & Advisory: Identify opportunities to strengthen business processes and controls, contribute to the development of audit tools, templates, and methodologies, support special projects and cross-functional initiatives as required.
- Qualifications & Experience: Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent, minimum 23 years post-qualification experience in internal audit, risk, or financial services.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data analytics tools, knowledge of auditing software and financial systems advantageous.
- Attributes: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills, excellent communication and report-writing abilities, ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities, collaborative team player with a proactive approach.
