Actuarial Capital Model Developer

Join us at Allied World as an Actuarial Capital Model Developer, where you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and maintenance of our internal capital models. As a key member of our Actuarial team, you will work closely with management to assist with the parameterization of our models.
Your primary focus will be on supporting capital submissions to regulatory bodies, including the BMA, Lloyd's, the PRA, the CBI, and FINMA. You will also run models for quarterly updates, analysis of reinsurance purchases, ad-hoc model runs for new business initiatives, merger and acquisition analyses, and other strategic business purposes.
In this role, you will conduct industry research and analysis of parameters and methodologies, including loss distributions, asset distributions, correlations, etc. You will assist with the validation of models and liaise with other departments as necessary to gather expert knowledge.
You will be responsible for creating and maintaining model documentation, developing training material for senior management, and creating exhibits for risk management committee and board meetings.
