Retail Store Manager Assistant

We are seeking a qualified candidate to fill the role of Team Leader/Supervisor Assistant.
">- Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the store supervisor or manager with daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, and overseeing staff schedules. This will include providing leadership and guidance to junior shop assistants, assisting with their training and development, handling escalated customer inquiries or issues, resolving complaints, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Additionally, the candidate will operate the cash register, process transactions accurately, and handle payments. They will also maintain cleanliness and organisation of the store, including stocking shelves and arranging displays.
- Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must have a minimum 6 months experience in a relevant Team Management or Supervisor Assistant role in Retail. A conversational level of English is essential, as well as proficiency in one of the Eastern European languages (e.g., Romanian, Polish, Ukrainian, Russian, Lithuanian, Latvian, Croatian, etc.). Full flexibility is required, including availability to work on day shifts, which may include bank holidays.

The successful candidate can expect a competitive rate of pay depending on experience. Additionally, they will receive weekly salary payment, career progression scheme, official employment, paid annual leave, employee discount, on-site parking, and store discount.
- Others:
This is a full-time, permanent position, with expected hours ranging from 35-45 per week. The shift schedule will typically include 10 hour shifts, 8 hour shifts, day shifts, and every weekend.
