Our team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child Development Specialist to work with children in various healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's functional abilities and developmental needs.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address specific goals.
- Provide evidence-based interventions to improve motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and educators.
- Educate and support families to promote their involvement in their child's therapy.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to case discussions.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current registration with the relevant regulatory body.
- Proven experience in paediatric occupational therapy, with a strong track record of success.
- Excellent assessment and clinical reasoning skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and colleagues.
