We are looking for an experienced Environmental and Health Risk Manager who can oversee the development and implementation of environmental and health strategies. Key responsibilities include analyzing data, identifying risks, and developing corrective actions.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Analyzing data to identify environmental and health risks;
- Developing and implementing strategies to mitigate identified risks;
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure that environmental and health standards are met;
- Conducting regular audits and inspections to ensure regulatory compliance;
- Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure compliance with environmental and health standards;
- Providing guidance and support to staff on environmental and health matters;
- Identifying areas for improvement in environmental and health performance and suggesting solutions;
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures related to environmental and health;
- Working with senior managers to develop strategic goals and objectives related to environmental and health;
- Ensuring that environmental and health records are maintained accurately and up-to-date.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field;
- At least 4 years of experience in environmental science and health;
- Knowledge of relevant environmental and health legislation and regulations;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Certifications in environmental and health management or equivalent;
- Microsoft Office skills; PC literate.
